Day 41 Tuesday May 20

No Travel day

Isla Flores, Guatemala

Temp: 41 degrees C

Sunny and super hot

We had a thunder-storm and a heavy rain last night but it didn’t cool thing down much at all. I woke up in a pool of sweat about three times and I’m sleeping directly under the ceiling fan that is trying to pass itself off as a turboprop plane!

First order of business was a repeat of “home business” once more then breakfast and more great coffee!

………..Back to the internet until two for “business” then swimming till suppertime.

Lime Margaritas this evening and plans to head for Poptun and Agua Calientes tomorrow.

Another thunder-storm is brewing now and hopefully will have spent it’s wrath and dissipated by morning.

An early day trying to do business from home and searching for a fax service again…

Then off to find a decent map of Guatemala and possibly Honduras… found one for Guatemala…no luck on the other.

Off to breakfast and were served the most delicious coffee we’ve had since leaving home! Sooooo Goood!

Back to the hotel, we went for a swim until supper time, then off to eat and check out the two for one specials…..great mango daiquiris and Lime Margaritas! Then back to sit on the deck in the cool of the evening and listen to the sounds of the lake.
