We're back in Nicaragua , Baby!

Day 69 Tuesday June 17
Left San Jose, Costa rica

We were up and on the road before seven thirty. It paid off and we were through the city and on the Pan-American in about fifteen minutes. That may not sound too impressive but bear in mind that the traffic in
The entire day was a glorious, sunny and cool ride,
G I distress had us making very regular stops of necessity and one of the stops was at the roadside stop “The Lazy Iguana” which had an amazing garden, fish pond and bird feeding station as well as a collection of iguanas.
We enjoyed free Costa Rica coffee and coffee flavored toffee as we strolled around the garden…..What a lucky stop!

The border crossing was no big hassle but did take about an hour and a half, but we had made such good time that we decided to push on for
We got into
Showers, change of clothes, and dinner in the restaurant then back to the room for an unwind!
I highly recommend their “Chicken Archduke”.
