We made it to Chambersburg PA near the Virginia border by 7:30. We had to call it quits because of a heavy rain, winds and lightning,

We had a noticeable change in the temp by noon and were seeing leaves on some of the trees the size of a mouse’s ear….wild daffodils in bloom!

At about four in the afternoon we were getting steady showers and suppertime brought rain which got heavier and windy with lightning.
