Day Eight. Thursday April 17

Left Houston Texas at 12:10

Temp: 17 degrees C

Winds 32 Km SE Sunny

Left Houston in warm sunny weather but soon got into very strong buffeting side and cross winds, heading for San Antonio and eventually Laredo.

AAA in San Antonio could not provide us with Mexican insurance for fire and theft so we headed to Laredo to hopefully obtain it from Sanborn’s.

My lord but driving through “the biggest state in the union” was boring…flat, dull, boring! Nothing attractive about this state that I can see…..couldn’t even find anything worth taking a picture of…sorry about the “dangling participle” but then, it is kind of symbolic of the state; you keep waiting for something to grab you and it never seems to happen.

Hey Guys, like Trish said be careful when you cross the border, I supose you wont have access to the internet for a while, cant wait to see your next pictures, hopefully it won't be behind bars, The party at Norfolks was awesome, Jill won the back pack, well deserved, Looking forward to your next upbate.
