Breakfast, then laundry….

“Relax” day! We’re going to check out what is touted as “the best civil war museum in the country”, then back to the quarter for some more R & R.

We got to the Museum and found it temporarily closed for repairs, so we took a leisurely stroll around the quarter and the riverfront. The Riverwalk was very nice, and the Sternwheelers running up and down “the big muddy” were impressive, all the more so because they are outfitted with steam calliopes on the upper deck and there is always some musician playing Scott Joplin and Dixie tunes that ring out all up and down the river and all through the French quarter.
