Day 46 Sunday May 25

No Travel Day

Tela, Honduras

Temp: 36 degrees C

Sunny

The day started with Sue spotting a commotion down on the beach. Off she went, camera in hand, to discover a local fisherman cleaning and cutting-up a catfish shark right on the beach! Apparently, the shark had got caught by the tide in a small pool and the fisherman was taking advantage of a good situation. Someone was going to have ‘shark’ for supper!

We had breakfast at the hotel, the usual; refried beans, cheese, eggs, ham, and fried plantain. Then off in search of the local internet to let everyone know that we were still alive.

Afterward, we came back to the hotel to get ready to hit the beach. Sue decided to take a little 10 minute nap and I decided to join her. Two hours later we woke up and headed for the beach. Lol

As usual the water was piss warm. ( Sue loves it)

We stretched out on the sand to get a little sun but did not stay long as the sand fleas chased us out.

Supper, then an early night as we plan to travel tomorrow.
